Three of the biggest issues in America.

1. Immigration
2. Social Security Reform
3. Terrorism

Not ONE person (Republicans included) had the guts to tackle these politically unpopular issues. He does, and now he's being ridiculed for it. I suppose when the Democrats say they want change they don't really mean it.

I don't understand you. Why is it you think no one wanted to tackle those issues? These issues are discussed in Congress every day.

Immigration has reached all times highs and the problem is more accute than ever before, meaning Bush HAS to handle it. No other President thought to endanger the general populice by making Social Security private so old folks can gamble their Social Security away and end up being dependent on the state. Terrorism only can to complete fruition during Bush's term, and one might argue also indirectly as a result of him.

Why is Bush denying funding for stem cell research? Why would Bush like to outlaw abortion and create a black market for them? Why hasn't Bush rasied the federal minimum wage?

No he is criticized for being a war monger. Iraq was not carrying out terrorist acts Bin Laden was.Now there are terrorists in Iraq and likely will be from now on . Bush is just too cocky to allow diplomacy to have a chance to work. He said screw all options and unilaterally attacked Iraq and lied about WMD as a justification for it.. At the same time he took the troops out of Afghanistan where the real threat was and let Bin Laden go .

Bin Laden will die of natural causes before he is ever brought to justice. and Saddam although an evil dictator will be brought to justice by the states for crimes against Iraq and its people. He didn't do anything to the states.

NATO troops are dieing all over Afghanistan and the US has all but pulled out . I can understand that though because Afghanistan has no OIL

If you think there is another reason for the US being in Iraq other then OIL then your just plain stupid and unable to add 2 and 2. There are worst atrocities happening in Darfour at the moment then ever happened in Iraq and the US doesn't even report on that, let alone send troops, no oil in Darfour either

They also halled *** out of Somalia pretty quick as well after a few war dead, Had very few in Rwanda during that Genocide and don't seem to contribute very much at all to prevent atrocities world wide considering the size of the US army. That is unless they can use those atrocities to justify going into an oil rich country.

Bush hasn't done sh!t about Illegal immigration no bill has been put on the floor by Republicans.

Bush Failed in his efforts to "reform" i.e. screw up Social Security.

Clinton was doing plenty to combat terrorists, you just choose to ignore it. While there is debate on the issue, many sources claim Clinton was "obssesed with Bin Laden".

PS Bush received 50.7 % of the vote in 2004 (supposedly) This still means 49.3% voted against him. His approval rating fluctuates between 30 to 40% which means around 60% dissapprove of him. The idea that the majority support him is a pipe dream

Not for what he did? Did he promise this?
Illegally and unconstitutionally invaded another sovereign country that in no way provoked, threatened or attacked the United States.

Massacred tens of thousands of Iraqi elderly, women and children without any reasonable justification

Killed more than 2,500 U.S. soldiers;
Tarnished our reputation as a global leader and world peacekeeper;
Bankrupted the U.S.A. financially and morally (we are now trillions of dollars in debt. which means YOUR taxeswill pay for it!

Condone the illegal incarceration of prisoners and torture, abuse, and even murder of those individuals in secret camps reminisent of Hitler's Camps. Did he say he was going to do that. That he was going to defy the Geneva Convention and International law?

Is trying to turn America into a police state where citizens are presumed guilty until proven innocent.

Ruined all previous efforts to manage our environment better and enhance the ecological issues so desperately needed to keep our Earth a viable place for human habitation
;
Neglected America's poor, sick, aged, disabled, homeless, hungry, underprivileged and disadvantaged while playing "Robin Hood in Reverse" and stealing from those impoverished people to give to his rich friends, lobbyists, special interest groups, and big corporations who - in turn - make generous (if not illegal) contributions to help keep the GOP in power.

Now I don't remember him saying a word about this..Some years ago, he tallked about a kinder gentler world. But I thought that was Bushit , too.

Bush is and has been penalized because the Democrats lost twice to him and in their world view, they are the only ones who can govern our nation. Some dems were for the war, but because Bush got stuck with having to actually do it, they switched their position. They will always do the opposite of whatever G.W.B. wants even if it means selling our country out to the enemy, just to appease their hatred of him. What a bunch of losers!

Bush's social security reform plan was so awful he couldn't even get the Republican controlled Congress to go along with it. As for immigration, what exactly has he done? Except turn a blind eye until it became politically important to address the issue, I mean.

Honestly, Bush is not being penalized enough. His unconstitutional domestic spying program alone should be enough to have him impeached. He's still in office. He's getting off lightly.

Immigration has a lot of work that needs to be done. The social Security reform will never be done while the SSN fund is in the general fund and politicians can spend it like monopoly money.

those issues are only big if you are retarded.

immigration: what is the big urgent issue here?
social security reform: see above
terrorism: see above

bush is a politician who appeals to every stupid lazy person by promising things that are undeliverable. you cannot shut off the pipe of immigration without addressing our dependence on cheap illegal labor. you cannot reform social security through privatization without altering the structure of it so that it no longer serves its claimed function. you cannot end terrorism by monitoring the activities of millions of nonterrorists and ending the era of free speech.

how can you be so easily led and shortsighted? i want meaningful change, i will not simply accept changes i think are retarded simply because they are changes.

The 9/11 commission recommendations have been ignored, Osama Bin Laden is still at large, the Taliban is back in Afghanistan...

What has he done, exactly, to tackle terrorism besides having the largest terrorist attack ever on US soil go down on his watch?

2006-09-18 18:14:41 · answer #10 · answered by Schmorgen 6 · 0 0

Democrats want Open Borders. Because illegals vote Democrat.
Democrats want to surrender to the terrorists because they believe that the terrorists will start being nice, if we forget about 9/11 and just give up.
