Uh no. Parallel lines never intersect... However, I do believe it is true for perpendicular lines, because they will intersect.

????? Parallel lines don't intersect.

A right angle is one corner of a square -- a 90 degree angle.

If you have two sets of parallel lines intersecting, they may or may not intersect at right angles. Spread the first two fingers on either hand. Put one set of fingers behind the other to form a square. It won't be perfect because your fingers are not perfectly parallel, but it will give you the idea. Now skew the bottom set of fingers, so the shape formed is a diamond. This is still made of two sets of parallel lines intersecting, but the angles formed are not right angles.
So the answer to your question, if you mean two sets of parallel lines, has to be 'maybe', depending on whether the lines are perpendicular to each other or not. If they are perpendicular, yes, right angles are formed. If they are not perpendicular, no, right angles are not formed.
So now you have to go back to the source of your question and find out what the qualifiers are.
Okay?

Parallel lines, by definition, do not intersect because they go in the same direction: ========= these are parallel lines. Perpendicular lines DO form a right angle when they intersect +

No, parallel lines do not intersect. A right angle is formed when two perpendicular lines intersect.

k now parallel lines CANNOT intersect lol...now perpendicular lines can and yes a right angle is formed at the intersection.

No, parallel means they stay the same distance apart and never intersect.

um, no parallel lines can never intersect, thats why they're called parallel XD.... do you mean perpendicular? then you would get four right angles... but any ways.. :P

what's the definition of parallel lines? 2 lines which when extended indefinitely NEVER intersect. are you speaking about a different kind of geometry? (e.g. spherical geometry)
