I haven't had anyone do a Tarot Reading for me before, but I've had a Reular playing Card Reading... that's some freaky mess right there!!!!! My mother has a deck of regular playing cards, inside of a small, dark- blue, velevet bag. A spiritual book came with directions on how to use the cards... REGULAR CARDS that people play with on a daily bases!!!!! On some the cards are marked 3 signs under Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. On some of the other ones are marked Careers, Family, Friends, Relationship, Finances, etc. Before the reading, the Quarrent (the one recieveing the reading) has to ask a specific question (in which more than that will be answered IF you have anything else weighing on your mind- it reads you like a book!) and also shuffles the cards THEMSELVES. Then, the Reader places the cards in a clock form (12 cards in a circle), and 1 more in the center. Then, the Reader flips each card starting with the card in the 1 o'clock position. I've had a total of 3- 4 readings... these readings deal with the Past, Present, and Future... the Past is 100% accurate- NO JOKE OR LIES WHAT-SO-EVER!!! The present (at the time) have happened EXACTLY the way it was told, and the Future (some already occured) happened EXACTLY the way it was read/ told and is still pending in the future. Don't believe me? I'll prove it if we find each other in person!!! It's THAT real... and freaky! Also, my mom is NOT a psychic, and this is first spiritual thing she's ever experimented with (she's had this set for over 1 year).

I read tarot. I use them to help me interpret what problem (s) a person is going though and a possible outcome if things do not change. The cards are just a tool and don't do anything on their own. The reader must interpret the signs and symbols in the cards.
Can they tell the future? Maybe a possible future. But your future is not set in stone. You make decisions everyday that constantly change the course of your life. Think of the movie "the butterfly effect". Every time he changed something in the past is dramatically changed the future. Same idea! Your decision determine your future and your future is always changing.

If you have the time, check out the movie, "What the bleep do we know." Read the works of Carl Jung that explain the 'collective unconscious." Also, read any Deepak Chopra books, but especially the "Seven Spiritual Laws of Success."
- In both of these, quantum physics is explained in terms that most can understand. And, we are helped through this to understand how and why Tarot works.
- Yes, a skilled/talented person can read cards and tell you things about your future POSSIBILITIES, even your future PROBABILITIES. As stated earlier, the info is not set in stone, but can be changed according to your choices and actions./

Yes. However, they don't predict the future so much as they predict what's likely to happen in the future. It also depends on the reader. Some are just con-artists while others actually know what they're doing. Also, it's not the cards that are psychic, but the user.

A good Clairvoyant Tarot Reader will use the imagery of the Tarot to inspire visual messages in the minds eye. He/she will then relay thoughts and feeling from those visualizations within. The clairvoyant tarot reader is a psychic. Those images will ‘come alive’ in the psychics mind's eye. The clairvoyant will then be able to convey messages and future guidance about specific areas of your life. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/psychic-advice.html

I believe so. But the person that is telling your future from the cards needs to be very intune with nature and themselves. You can actually do things like that. You have something inside you that will let you know if some one is telling the truth or not. But you have to train it and use it. BEWARE of the false ones. They are out there.

The question you ask is to believe or not to believe. If you want to believe in the answer you will get 50% chance it is true and ask another question to clarify the first answer. But, if you don't want to believe in the answer you will get 50% chance it is false and you will not ask another question to get another answer.
This is why I refuse to read the tarots for somebody else. I just know the Tarots for myself. Amicalement. Salut.

Yeah. I'm pretty good at them myself.
However, this whole "future" thing...here's how it really works: The cards (not "card") tell what is MOST LIKELY to happen if no intervention takes place. It's not a set-in-stone "future".
