yes because they use the same formula. Plus its alot cheaper, but its also a good idea to look at the ingridients to be sure. If its pretty similar, go for the generic brand. Except for stuff like Maybeline Mascara-- they have the formula and brush right so go ahead and get the real thing.

what a brand is is just a package a commercial with nice celebrities and a name.
im sure walgreens uses the same stuff on there products too read the lable or ask a pharmacist

Most of the "store brands" have the same active ingredients as the name brand. Just check the ingredients listing and find out what's the same and what's not.

If we are talking about face wash then go with the name brand but there are items where the genearic are just as good. Like aspirin, hydo peroxide, q-tips..... But 75% of the time I go with name brand.

do what I do, compare ingredients, both should be similiar if not exact. some latter ingredients may be different due to fragrance and junk like that, but for the most part, it's the same.

read the ingredients. sometimes they have the same exact things in it and they actually come from big companies and drug stores buy the product from them and put their label on it
