Who has a tongue peircing?

People keep trying to talk me out of getting one....................I want one bad.......Is it as bad as people say it is?Is it as unsanitary as they say?......Does the pain last as long as they say?

I had one and loved it for a while. I got nervous about chipping or breaking my teeth. And it got to the point, I could always feel it on the roof of my mouth and it annoyed me.

My husband had one for a while...He said the pain of having it done was inbearable. Which, when they started sticking the needle through, it got stuck about half way and they had to struggle with it.

A friend of mine has had one for 5 or 6 years now and never really had any problems with it...even the pain wasn't that bad. So, it really just depends on the person.

I don't recommend it though. It's not what it's cracked up to be.

Gimme a break! It can lead to infection, and even death through toxic shock syndrome! Don't even go there, man.

YOu won't have many replies here. What happens is, in addition to being totally annoying, it becomes infected with all the bacteria, then after a few days gangrene sets in. Then, your tongue begins to rot off.

they are horrible things, make you look and sound stupid. so many of my friends were unoriginal and got one. they hate them and now have holes in their tongue where they took them out
