The other domains and ranges weren't so clear so what i mean is...

1--------1.5-----2---------3.5

Actually it is 2.5
So...

I strongly suspect that the last number in the y list is supposed to be 2.5, not 3.5. For the level of math where they use language like "what's the rule for the function", a linear function would make way more sense.
If it truly is supposed to be 3.5, then I'm not seeing any patterns - and I'm usually really good at finding patterns.
Double check the problem.
