Yes, Yes!!! They are hiding under the doormat! They are peeping from behind the curtains! They are waiting to ambush us at every corner! They are peeping out of my wife's blouse!
This is the same stupid kind of reaction that people had to the "threat of Communism" spawned by John Birch. It's nothing but a "witch hunt." Don't let this administration and the media scare you out of your rights and sanity. USE YOUR MIND! As Obi Wan Kenobi said in Star Wars, "Reach out with your feelings." Do some research and discover what is really true. People don't become "terrorists" for no reason. They have been opressed by foreign governments and are fighting back the only way they know how... that is unless they belong to S.M.E.R.S.H. or S.P.E.C.T.R.E. or some other organization hell bent on world domination. lol Grow up and leave your AK at home. That is what some would have us believe. Military wisdom led us to avoid fighting the terrorists in Afghanistan because it is far too wild and peppered with caves (!) so they chose a nice flat place called Mesapotamia and said "hey you guys, we're over here, come and get us"
Which they did.
It is said that war games have indeed been used to predict the outcome of a confrontation between the US military and Islamic zealots at the Happy Hilltop Super Shopping Mall.
The outcome is clouded in mystery .
Nuclear weapons may have been invisaged and even used.

*Sigh* The mall will sell gum to anyone these days. Just because you are walking around with a piece doesn't make you so tough. Oh sure the rest of us sit back in our little bubbles and don't do anything. But is holding a bazooka really going to solve all these issues? I say chew on this for a day or two and then wad it up and toss it aside.

I don't think anyone really knows for sure - even "W". I think it is possible. I think everyone in this country needs to accept measures securing our safety and this includes phone tapping. If you are not running a suspicious activity, it should not matter if someone is listening on the phone.
