When I'm bored, without a book or anything, I make Alpha-lists.
Decide on a catergory, like "Car Models", than think of one for each letter:
Aztek, Beetle, Cavalier, Dart, etc.
I've done foods, plants, dogs, you name it. It's also helpful if you can't fall asleep.
Or do Alphabet pairs--this took me DAYS, but I got all! Amos & Andy,
bed & breakfast, cash & carry, dungeons & dragons, etc.

well....this is something to ponder over, i guess:

today in my earth and space science class, in the book there was a photograph of the whole earth from space level. like, you could see the clouds and the outline of the countries.

and i said to the kid next to me, "hey, do you know that we're all in this photograph?" and we checked the date the photo was taken, and apparently we WERE, in fact, in the picture.

not really a question, but it was a pretty cool thing to think about.

If opposite forces attract, and like forces repel, how does the nucleus of an atom stay together since it is made up of protons which are all positively charged?
