Of course. It is not like you pay tuition or anything. Besides how much relevant info could they possibly say in five hours?

Missing a five hour class is like missing a week full of seminars.
If you have a project due tomorrow...maybe go for half the class and take off during the break. Then you'll get the gist of the week.
If your prof didn't assign any homework or readings the first half of the class, make sure you confirm with him what's needed for the next class before you leave.

depends if your five hour class will be based on material you know you can read up on later on in the day. its all about time management. if you can afford to miss the class for sleep and final projects, by all means do it.

It depends if you know someone is a reliable notetaker attending the classroom. There are instructors out there who base their tests on both the lectures and the course reading material. I know of one instructor who based her exams based on the questions found in the workbook.

If you're not gonna get much out of that class anyway because you're so tired, then just skip it and get some sleep.

Whenever I miss a college class I just ask someone for the notes. It's never an insane amount.
Go for it.

No way. That would be totally irresponsible and immature, not to mention you will be way far behind.
