They use to have The San Diego Mariners in the World Hockey Association (WHA) a rival professionnal hockey to the NHL back in the 70's

There aren't any professional teams, but they do have a minor league team called "The Gulls". They are actually really good.

Certainly no NHL team there, but they do have the Gulls, they should have info on their website for team sweaters (jerseys).
