On the side of the projector, there is a door that pops open. Printed on the side of the projector behind that door is a white line that shows how the film should be threaded through the projector. Notice the place where there's a loop of film that doesn't connect to anythijg? That really needs to be a loose loop there...not tooo big, but definitely a loop.

The full reel goes on the front arm (there's a little silver locking lever to keep it from falling off.). The empty reel goes on the back arm.

The power cord plugs into the bottom rear of the projector.

The switch has a position for fan, fan and light, and projector on. After you run the film, let the fan run for a few minutes to cool it down.
