I like this girl and I've liked her for 2 years, late August I had enough courage to ask her for her number, she just giggled and ran back to class. It's homecoming dance soon, she doesn't have a date and neither do I. I still like her and I would like to date her but now I don't know what to do. Please give me some advice.

She was probably nervous. Try leaving a note in her locker, since she's too giggly to give an answer to your face. Give her a definite time by which to get back to you, ie "Put a note in my locker by Friday" or "let me know during lunch tomorrow."
If you know any of her friends, ask them if they think Ms. Giggles will go with you. They could get back to you with an answer.

If she didn't give you her number, I would forget about it. How old is she anyway to just giggle and run away? Ten?? LOL If so, she's obviously not ready for dating yet. She needs to mature a bit more. If you still want some more abuse, just flat out 'ASK HER if she would be interested in going with you. That way you know one way or another. What have you got to lose?? You don't currently have her anyway, so you can't lose her. LOL
