When I go to a some garage sales there in a yard
In when I go to some yard sales there in the garage!
I'm so confused(smile) so is there a difference
Or are they basically the same!

Some people are in such a hurry to rid their junk, and make money they'll call it anything. I think it should only have one name: Anything goes (and make it quick)

They are about the same.
If you have a yard sale you have a bunch of stuff outside on the lawn and that attracts people driving by. However if it rains you are canceled because everything could get wet and no one wants to stand around outside looking it over.
If you have a garage sale you put the stuff in your garage and people come into that more-crowded place to see it and buy it. However if it rains you can keep going with the sale because there is a roof over your head.

a garage sale is in garage plus you can put some stuff in the yard,a yard sale is in the yard i done some before

Well one is in a garage and one is in a yard, Some people just dont follow that COMMON sense thing and just call them whatever they want. So i guess now they are just all the same lol :)

I think yard sales are more summery and garage are colder times of the year...cuz they're indoors. But same stuff.
