try getting a flight to bangkok or singapore then a budget flight from there
emirates fly from manchester to bangkok (im going in 2 weeks)
and air asia do cheap flights to ho chi ming and hanoi after that
hanoi is great, was there last year. defo go to halong bay if ur up north
