I'm gay, so sure...lol...why not.
Personally, spare me the "priviledge." But it's basically a symbolic issue, which is why it's so near and dear to so-called "conservative" types.
All the arguments against it are nonsensical. Either they're based on quaint religious ideas - and in this country we have separation of Church and State, so "you phail" - or they're just formalizations of petty bigotries. My favorite is "You HAVE the right to marry - the same sex. What you're asking for are special rights!"
Sigh. People WILL be gay, whether you think it's "genetic" or not, whether you actually believe it's a "choice" or not, and since other peoples' consensual relationships don't effect anybody else adversely (except in their own diseased imaginations), it's only decent to accomodate them. And all the "slippery slope" arguments - that if we let the gays marry, next it's bestiality and incest - are simply more piled-on ignorant bigotry. I consider it a total vindication that they're so often put forward by the same people who refuse to "believe" in evolution or global warming.

I don't really believe in any type of marriage because it usually does not last, but gay people have just as much right as straight people to show their love to each other and make it legal.

Yup. Committed couples should be allowed to have all of the same tax benefits as married couples. On the flipside, I believe people who get divorced should be penalized for breaking their commitments either repaying taxes that they wrote off, or prohibited from claiming married status ever again...

Yes, despite my beliefs I support gay marriage. Let them be as miserable as everyone else. We all have one life to live, don't we?

Of course I support it - I will always support love. I am not gay myself, but I think love is a beautiful thing.

No....If God intended for us to marry the same sex..he would have put Adam and Eve here....And I'm religious or nothing really...But I just don't believe in it...But love is love..And if you like it or know someone that does...I wish them the best....
