... ask my ex to arrange to meet to get 8 of my finger rings back? He told me that i shouldn't ever call him for cheap things like rings and that i should have called him to meet up for drinks and got the rings at the same time. I didn't want to meet up with him for a drop of liquid at all because he keeps thinking there's a chance of us getting back together. He was a lying cheat and for some reason i'm rude! It took me many years to collect my rings and he made out that they were quite simply cheap. I told him to throw away the rings because i'd rather not see an insolent person but i really want them back- think he'll throw them away?

And they weren't cheap- they were white gold- he was holding onto them when i bumped into him at a wedding and he told me that they clashed with what i was wearing then never gave them back at the end of the evening- then when i saw him a few times after that he 'forgot'

Sorry to hear about the break up but it sounds like you are better off. As far as the rings, start a new collection. If you were to get the others back every time you went to put one on you would probably think of him. That's something I think you are trying to put behind you. Start new. It may take awhile to get back to where you were but hey you deserve new stuff. As far as him throwing them away, it sounds like he's being a jerk so he probably did. Do your best to stay away from him. The less you see him the better off you are. Just remember you are awesome and you deserve better than that. Keep your head up and God bless!!

Arrange to meet him for drinks
get him to by the whatever you want (you want a pint of cider)

Get the rings off him

Pour the cider over him,

As you are leaving say (so every one in the bar hears) "And the next time you make improper advances to me you will get a visit from my protection team!"

No your not rude but you have a bit of a jerk on your hands they he seems to think while he has something you want you will go running after him which by the sound of it he wants so unless there's some way you could sneakily get them back you may have to kiss them good bye-or (try not to heave) ask him out on that drink but get some mates to call you way after a little while then you can ask him to his face for them back!! Either way bet your glad to be finished with him.

Go to his house unexpectedly and preferably with a huge big muscle man in case of aggro, ask for your rings and walk away with a smile on your face and don't look back.

simply take him to small claims court that will shake him up and knock him off his high horse thinking you want him back....i know it sounds bad but that's the best way to get them back and then if he has thrown them away or destroyed them he will have to pay you for them....OR you can just hire a few Guido's (or tough guys) to go shake him up lol (but really i wouldn't do this unless you know some tough guys that will do it for you and NOT turn you in) but yeah just take him to small claims its cheap (to file) easy (the instructions are sooo simple) and to the point (he won't think your taking him to court just to see him) hope this helps and good luck i don't know why some guys are such @ss holes i mean if a girl doesn't want to be with you grow a pair and get over it.

no your not rude!! my ex was the same, he kept wanting to meet for the chance of sex, id sooner go without and keep some dignity than go back for continual one nite stands!! dont lower yourself, in time rings can be replaced if they have no sentimental value!!

Pester him constantly for your property until he is sick of it.
Then say you will stop doing this if you get your rings back.
Always be prepared to bargain, but don't admit this.
Threaten legal action next.
Get a nasty boyfriend (temporarily) and offer to go 50-50 with him if he gets your rings back.
Bunny-boil.
Never lose his address.

He is holding on to them to make sure he sees you again. They are your property, get them back or report them stolen. Move quickly or yes out of spite he may well throw them away.

if its something u want and he has, get it back, especially if they mean something to you, so what if he thinks yr cheap or what ever, you don't/shouldn't care as ur not with him anymore, Don't try and justify his points, why is he calling u cheap and ur defending yr self? hes not in the right
He needs to give you those back cos their yrs and u want them back, he has no reason to keep them has he? Get back what u want.
