You aren't supposed to drive without your driver's licence. So yes, you do need it. However, if someone else takes you and you just have a passport, than no, you don't need the license.

you will need your licence. Go to DMV and get a replacment. I think they are $5. (that's what they are here in Maine.) If you have a passport, great, use that to cross, but you will need your licence too.

you always need to have your drivers license if ur driving...especially outside the country

Yes you do, i had to produce my birth certificate also and had my SUV search!!!
