I'm a rock fan, main favourites being Vertical Horizon, 3 Doors Down, Alter Bridge, Matchbox 20, Creed, Evanescence, lifehouse, Counting Crows and Red Hot Chili Peppers. I do listen to music that's a little on the heavier side although I'm not a fan of Death Metal or anything that heavy! Any recommendations?

Check out MySpace. Many artists from around the world have samples of their music posted there, subdivided into dozens of genres. That's how I discovered Kira--not the one of "I'll Be Your Angel" fame, but another one based in Hamburg, Germany ( http://www.myspace.com/kiramusik ).
