Am I the only one who thinks Matthew McConaughey resembles a young Paul Newman?
Newman in 'Cool Hand Luke', and 'The Hustler'.
I think McConaughey bears a striking resemblence to Paul at certain angles.
Or am I just way off?

That's been said a lot. The difference for me is that I absolutely can't stand Matthew McConaughey. Also, Paul Newman is a great actor.

LOL! Ya kno wI thought the same thing... I think they should team Matthew McConaughey and Brad Pitt (as Robert Redford) in a remake of The Sting or Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid..the early years!

I agree - and also take a better look at Brad Pitt who strongly resembles a younger Robert Redford. Particularly in the movie directed by Redford, and stars Pitt, "A River Runs Through It". Obviously, Hollywood has its 'ideally prefered' looks in actors and even actresses.

I think you are correct about Paul Newman.
Now look at the Movie "A river runs through it" and tell me if Brad Pitt in that movie looks like a young Robert Redford ???

i think paul (young) looked even better than matthew... i guess they resemble eachother a lttle but not enough for me to notice it without you saying so. I LOVE The Hustler! :)

Yeah, he does. But when Paul Newman met his woman, he stayed with her and is still with her today. That's what makes him still so hot!
