Why do americans think muslim women are told to dress that way?

Do you think maybe they like it? THe scarves the flowy pants the loose tops,they live in the freakin desert ya know it must be comfortable. Or do you just not understand the concept of being attractive without looking like a whore?

Really stoned to death eh? In a country where there is religious freedom? Where they dont have to wear the head scarf? Its funny because Islam isnt the only religion in Iran, so are there stonings going on daily?

I 'm not gonna blaim you for you've always lived in a country that is full of lies and propeganda agaist Islam/Iran/Moslems.I'm living in Iran so don't claim you know my country better than me.Don't you understand that all these lies are because of political matters?They wanna picture us as terrible things that we're not.To picture our government as an Islamic tyrant.Then when they manage to control your brains they will attack us and they will tell you they've freed us.I don't really know can Iraqi people live a happy life after those terrorists attacked their country,raped them and killed their parents and abused their children and stole their oil and gold?Can they?the only thing U.S government is doing is to attack countries in the name of fighting terrorism (while there are actually no terrorists over here).If U.S government wanted to fight terrorists I suppose they should fight themselves in the first place.Who has told you all these lies?Uncle WC Bush?In Islam there is no difference between man and woman except some matters like clothing.In Iran women are even better that men.95% of them get into the best universities and they even get P.H.Ds while 50% of boys cannot even pass the university enterance exam of good universities(because girls are more clever).Who says women cannot drive cars?In Tehran there are even a special streets for woman taxi/bus/truck drivers.They respect their religion so they are free.We are all happy living here.They are much more respectful and beautiful than the women in your countries.They are not looked at as sex objects like they are in your countries.Who says they are killed?Stop believing in lies for the sake of God!And yes wearing beautiful scarves makes them even more attractive and no one wears baggy cloths but some old(more that 50)women.No one wears scarves fully.more than half of their hair flies out.So why no one kills them?Simple,because there is no one to kill them.It's all because of your wrong imaginations and Bush's lies.So your government is good because it allows you to commite evil deeds like fornication and sleeping with strangers.I've seen this several times amonge the questions asked here.And our govrnment is bad because it has made our country a safe place for living.Interesting attitudes you have! They're at an amusement park, in what I imagine is the middle of a hot sweltering day. Who do you think looks more out of place? A woman in a bikini top and shorts or someone covered in head to toe in fabric and a f*cking head scarf. Do you think all those men who are shirtless and wearing only swim trunks should have to cover up as well? Grow up, puritan.

What I want to know is why the men where practical men's clothing and the women do not. The muslim culture is a backward and unprogressive. We all would know the true feelings of the women if they weren't so afraid of being killed for saying the wrong thing. Who told you that it was attractive? To a mattress maybe. The poor kids.

Interesting spin.

However, the issue is that an American Woman has the option of wearing what they wish without the threat of harm or death. Muslim woman (not in America) are brutally beaten or killed if they try to exert the same choice.

I have no issue with any woman that chooses to wear what they wish (burka, bikini, suit, whatever). After all, the freedom of choice is their's...it's their body. But, the choice should be their's....without threat of harm.

It is a choice women have to dress however they choose. As a Muslim woman, I choose not to wear the traditional Muslim attire. That is my choice. I do not feel pressured by anyone to do anything. Not all of us live in deserts ya know. hehe. That's amusing. The way some women dress lately does make them appear trashy. I agree. I choose to dress appropriately as to present myself in a respectable manner.

The Muslim dress is, as I understand it, an act of ordinance passed on to Muslim women from God. Some people are a little more strict than others, but the point is to not turn women into walking sex objects.

bottom line, the men are terribly insecure about themselves and living in a delusional state and using a "God" message in order to cheat against other human beings.
