Congratulations and I hope you'll both be very happy.
I do find it strange that 2 people can meet up so successfully sometimes even through a chat site yet when I've seen guys posting on here asking if anyone wants to go out for a drink or chat or whatever, they get shot down in flames. How strange.
Why I've never done it myself yet all the lovely gals I chat to are either MILES away or already have partner/BF/Hubbie or aren't looking for a relationship etc.
Oh well never mind. As I say, good luck and happy anniversary.

I met someone over 5 years ago on Yahoo Messenger and we are both still married to other people for over 30 years. We finally met in person about 3 years ago and have been meeting about 2 or 3 times a year since then! We live over 1000 miles apart. Our spouses both know about us but want to stay married to us. They think we will give up on this! Some day we will figure out what to do about being together permanently because we do love each other and miss each other terribly!

my best mate is a member of gaydar and he met a guy on there, they chatted at first and then got together. it was clear from the start that this bloke was a player but my mate didn't listen to anyone. he fell for him and in time at all was agreeing to move miles away to live with him. he resigned from his job, told his mum, changed his bank account and doctors. packed all his belongings and was ready to uproot his life for him. then 2 weeks b4 he was due to go, this bloke called it off. said he could not cope with the panic attacks that my friend suffers. a few days later my mate found out that he had been cheating on him the whole time they were together, not with one person but with loads. so i would have to say that no, i do not trust Internet dating. my mate has already been out on the town and attracted loads of attention. you do not need the Internet to find someone!
