A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
D = 1

for example: if i took 12units and i got 3 A's and 1 B.
then my GPA will be

for A ( 4 + 4 + 4 = 12) and B = 3

all = 15.

4 * 12unit = 48.

GPA = 48/15 = 3.2 GPA

every A is 4 points
every B is 3 points
a C is 2 points
a D is 1 point

Add them all together, then divide by the total number of grades, you will get a number between 0 and 4, with 4 being straight A's

Some schools also use a weighted scale, where honors level classes get an extra point, so an A is 5, B is 4, etc.
