getting into canada is easier then entering the states, alls i ever take is id and birth certificate.

To drive into canada you need some form of ID. DL is one, Passport is another. To drive in Canada (as long as your not planning to get pulled over) you can get away with it, however I don't recommend it. They don't look on it too lightly when people get pulled over and have no DL. I'd try your hardest to find it or let someone else drive.

you better find it or don't go not only will you need that you need your birth certificate or a passport. They are not playing over there. They could stop and search your car if they want. be careful

You need a photo ID and proof of US citizenship.
A passport would have both of these.

you will need either a state issued i.d. or visa into canada, sorry a birth certificat just wont cut it
