Ok this all happened at school today. I bought a bear and card for this girl in school that i like and put it in her locker so she will be suprised. Then when she seen it she said awww thank you and she gave me a hug. Then after school i went to her locker where she was and asked her if she would like to go to Homecoming with me as friends. Then she said uhh someone already asked me out but i'll get back at you later. And then she gave me a hug. What does she mean i'll get back at you later. Do you guys think theres a chance

Hmm, odd. I think it means she's not sure the other guy will take her - maybe they were set up by a mutual friend or something. Sounds like she would like to keep you as a back-up in case the other date falls through.
Not very promising, but she didn't outright refuse you; since she offered the possibility of getting back to you later she must think you have some potential.
The bear and card were a totally sweet idea, props to you. If you really like her, don't lose hope yet; but start thinking of who else who might want to ask to the dance, just in case.

Probably NOT. Take it from me been there done that. I think she
doesn't want to hurt your feelings. She probably likes you as a friend but nothing more, no matter how much you may like it to be more than friendship. On the up side she's just one of millions
and yours IS out there. I know this because I found mine and we've been together for 15 years and married for 11 years.I could be wrong though because no one is a LIFE expert. Good Luck!!
