Actually it's not a scam. I've used it for about a yr. I get 3 movies(to start) when your done watchin them you send 1 or all 3 and they'll just keep sending them. It's actually pretty good deal. If you have a movie for 2 months they don't care, you just send it when your done.

I don't use Netflix, but I use Blockbuster Online, which is fairly similar. It's not a scam but you have to be able to watch a good amount of movies per month for it to be useful. Advantages are that they hold way more DVDs than your local video store. Delivery is usually about one business day, rarely more (but I'm telling you it will happen sometime). I usually receive about 14-16 DVDs a month on a 3-at-a-time-plan and I'm completely satisfied. Renting those at a store would $50 or more so it's a great bargain.

Netflix is the best!!! I've had it for quite a while now. The best thing about it is there are NO late fees. If you are too busy to watch your movies, they can just sit there, and no one bothers you and it doesn't cost any extra. It is SO easy - mailed right to your door, you watch them, put them back in the postage paid envelope and drop them into a mailbox. I would recommend netflix with absolutely NO hesitation. Another thing, they have the best selection of movies - a great variety in every imaginable genre. It is an excellent bargain.

I've used Netflix, Blockbuster Online, and Wal-Mart's horrid movie service as well.

Netflix is by far the best and I'm going back to them next week. They have so many more movies, and their shipping is fastest. You do have to watch at lest FOUR movies a month for it to at least break even with the cost.

I wouldn't call it a scam, but I found that it wasn't worth it. You have to watch movies pretty consistently and return them quickly in order to really get your money back.

I found myself in the unfortunate situation of holding onto the same three movies for months and paying $21.95 per month (or something like that) to watch three movies only.

Personally, I prefer going to Blockbuster. You can watch the movies on your own schedule and there are no late fees.

Netflix is not a scam. My sister used to be a member. She isn't a member anymore because I got her to join blockbuster online. Its the same price plus they give you coupons to print online that are good for free instore rentals. I do the one at a time unlimed rents for $9.99 and I get 2 in-store rentals. Delivery is fast and free. Actually, depending on where you live, delivery may even be faster with blockbuster. they just opened a wharehouse in my town so I get them the next day. The 2 free rentals pay for it self and when you are waiting for your next movie you can rent a free one so I think blockbuster online is way better!

It's awesome, i've been using them for a couple of years. I think it's pretty cheap and they ship fast. You can change your acount to how may movies you want a month at any time. You can also up date your movies list when ever you want. They also have great customer service.
