does anyone know what the average number of sexual partners in a lifetime is for men and women?

think about it:
35 - 18 = 17 years
17 * 12 = 204 months
204/85 is a little over 2 months. so.. if he goes out more than once a week then he has the possiblity of having sex with a girl before the 2 month period. So.. if that is something he works at (and is good at) then yeah... thats possible...
26 - 18 = 8 years
8 * 12 = 96 months
96/26 is a little over 3 months so.... taking into account that a girl may delay going to bed right away.. thats a new guy every 3 months or 4 a year... not too bad...
the question to ask is... how long since this rate was going on? did a lot of it happen a while ago or are the numbers still accumlating? if they are.. then you may need to come to grips with this being just another hookup.

I think its funny that at 87 partners they can still keep track, you should test him out and see if he can remember their names!
To me, I'm not one to sleep around, so I think both those numbers are a little high
