bleeding and pregnancy!?

Question

Hey does anyone know why you have your period while pregnant? I am about 5 weeks pregnant, took 4 urine preg test (positive) one at the doctors office, of course i missed my period then about 2 weeks later i got my period. Lasted 3 days, and im kinda worried, so i got an ultra sound and a blood test for the HCG i got the results back for the blood test and that came back positive as well, but it was low. I just want to not be nervous anymore because i want my baby to be fine, and want to know how many of you went through this.

i have had four kids and had bleeding with three of them. i thought at one point or other that i was going to lose the babies. the doc at the time told me that this bleeding comes from the baby settling into the lining of your womb. i don't know how accurate this is but i have 4 live births. if bleeding gets severe or you have bad stomach pains i would try to relax abit about it i know it is easier said than done been there and all but the young doc told me to go home put my feet up and have a glass of wine. go figure that

Im 22 weeks and i've been bleeding since i was 15 weeks, I thought i was having my period while pregnant like most girls but it turned out i had a leak in my water bag. I was put on bed rest till the end of my pregnancy so i know how you feel, if i were you i'd ask your doctor if he could do a second ultrasound to make sure theirs no leak in your bag! Good luck

i never actually blead right after my period but i strted to bleed because i was going to miscarry, and sometimes bleeding can be normal in early pregnancy and it will go on until the baby is born but other times unfortunaley it will result in a miscarry, i just suggest you keep going to the doctors to check on ur baby, i wish u the best of luck

you can still be preggy if ur on ur period!!!!!!!!!
