This question has been in existence for millenia. Early man made sacrifices to Gods for substanance. Early man thought that if he did not worship the setting sun it would never rise again!
I don't think we will see the end of the world in our lifetime...
...but theres a good chance we may seem the end of mankind!

I think if people don't find a way to colonize other planets, it won't take long for us to destroy ourselves on the one we are on. I think that if we start to spread ourselves out over a larger space and move to other planets, and eventually other solar systems and so on, the long term survival of the human race is much more likely.

my first life shall end in this ream of space and time.the invesed time here on earth or "the world"shall end for each of us who don't use our time here wisely.think of this world as a job, working on rent payment for the next ream.it is said that if you have faith and work on making you and your reputation unassailable,he would be with you, even until the end of the world.

I wouldn't doubt it..that's for sure!! Seems like a lot of the things talked about in Revelations have been coming true in these last few years...and doesn't seem to be reversing any.

yes. there is too much crap going on. if one of the terrorist groups gets the bomb (or when), they detonate it in this country, katy bar the door. our country shoots some at them , then the russians shoot at us, then everybody else. the only thing left could be cockroaches and the chinese.

It ends for me when I die. I hope that is when I am 105 and having my honeymoon with my new 18 year old wife.
