Poppers, or Amyl Nitrates, are a liquid based drug that comes in a small bottle and is sniffed. It basically gives you a brief head rush leaving you with a high/disconnected feeling that lasts all of about 5 minutes. It has two known side effects, the first is a muscle relaxant and I'm sure I don't need to explain the benefits of that especially if your partner is particulary well endowed, and the second is a ***** of a headache if over used. In addition as its a musle relaxant it can have serious additional side effects for those with weak hearts etc. Bottom line (pun intended) avoid!

I did Poppers when I was in Highschool in the mid 80s when you could actualy get the real deal, any drug that you try now is not the stuff that you hear about in the movies it is either watterd down or juiced up with who knows what.. and just compleetly unsafe.. used to you got a head rush from it and the brand name was "RUSH" and you could buy it at any sex toy store and even some gas stations... but today people make their own.. and just like crack or crank.. you get what you pay for and even in some instances you dont know what you are getting because ppl mix up a batch of crap.
DONT DO IT!!!

Poppers that are available today are a very mild imitation of the real thing. It used to be you could get a real rush from them, but today, I think a nasty headache is what you will get. Don't even bother unless you have access to real Amyl Nitrite (snappers).

Amyl-Nitrate...there is also Bultyl-nitrate, known as RUSH.

I, in my youth, have done a variable cornucopia of illegal drugs.

Presently, with what brains I have left, I do not recommend any of them..., including things that you have yet to hear of.

Curiosity is one thing.., Stupidity takes it to a whole another level

Reading the replies on here is amazing, the lack of real knowledge..

Rush is not the same thing.., or try nitrious -oxide.. or how about I was being stupid back when most of these kids were just being born.., late 60's - early 70's.

You heave much to learn O` Young Jedi !!

Be safe

"Poppers" is the popular name for various alkyl nitrites, including isobutyl nitrite, butyl nitrite, and amyl nitrite.
That`s a funky lil` drug, sold usually in sex shops in a small bottle- you inhale the vapors from an open bottle.
The effect lasts for 20-120 seconds, making your heart speed up, produces a "rush" sensation, cause muscles in the anus and vagina to relax, often used during sex. You feel the strange head "popping" like being very happy, going out of your head, willing to jump, laugh, scream.
Don`t mix with any other drug, and avoid it if you have suppressed immune system, heart problems, low or high blood pressure, anemia, or are pregnant.

Poppers (record cleaner solution) are used to arouse the user and to make him/her more adventurous during sex. I have never used them, but a few hook ups back in the days used them when I topped them or when I fisted them.

I tried them one time. I ended up fainting...then waking up with an extreme headache. It was a horrible experience.

My husband used to love 'em. I wish I could've enjoyed them with him back then...but now I just stick to cuddling.
