all of us, from the time we are born, are imprisoned in some way or another, we just don't realize it. to consciously CHOOSE your prison is far more enlightened than what most people do. better to endure a few hours for something worthwhile than to, for instance, tolerate years inside the prison of a loveless marriage because you're too afraid of being alone. your choice is not retarded, if anything it shows that the prisons you sit in are those of your own choosing, not of 'Fear's' choosing.

If you firmly believe in what you are fighting for, then you are not a retard. That's why America is free. That's why most people don't work on Sat and Sun. That's why you can have any religion you want. That's why you can vote. In most countries, college students protest all the time.

No, can't say that I care for jail or for the problems of illegal aliens. I feel this problem does need to be addressed but not by a silly protest that will achieve nothing except draw nothing more than a laugh in the media.

No, I would NOT like to sign up to be arrested, even if it's only 7 hours, because I would hate to lose my freedom, even for a short time.

Way cool! I think that's awesome and I wish there were something like that going on in my area because I would absolutely love to do it! I'm jealous of you and wish you well. Thanks for helping support social and political justice! You rock!
