According to "Highlander" I think it is the only way they can become mortal again. They fight and kill each other off so they can finally kill the last one and live in peace, become mortal and die themselves a natural death

Are they going to kill all the women too? Surely the women will have too much sense to play that game. What about the children? I think THE ONE can curl up and die when he has no one else to fight, and the kids can get on with living. Hopefully with more cooperation.
