Has nothing to do with the Canadian Soldiers. I've served with them, and they're some tough buggers! Would be glad to have them fighting at my side any day, just as I would the Brits and Aussies and Germans.
The problem is the politicians who lead them, just as here in the U.S.

I spent 20 yrs. in the U.S. military and served along side numerous Canadians. I don't know of anyone in the U.S. Military that would say the Canadians are not brave soldiers, as a matter of fact a comment like that In my presence would definitely provoke a fight.

I don't know where that came from. Canadians have been side by side with american soldiers in every major conflict in our histories. We fought together in WW1 and 2, actually Canadians were there first. You are with us in Iraq and Afghanistan now. I've never heard that. We have total respect for Canadian soldiers.

I've never heard it said. The Canadians fought heroically with many times!

I'm sure there are some Americans who think that, but I'm also sure there are some Canadians who say the same thing. You can't judge people as a whole based on individuals. People are stupid.

I don't believe they have, but if Canadians would get serious, supply, arm and support their soldiers, so many of them would not get killed. I suppose this is what they mean by "I support the troops but not the war." You can't have it both ways.
