when you multiply fractions multiply the numerators separately and the denominators separately

multiplication is pretty simple really...
here are a few pointers on how to remember:
when you multiply any number by 1, the answer is always the other number (for example 1x3=3)
multiplying by 2 is the same as taking a number and adding it to itself (for example 4x2=8...4+4=8).
...not all of the multiples have easy ways to remember them though....
when you multiply any number by 10, you just add a zero behind the number (for example: 9x10=90) see? it's as easy as that! and if i totally confused you, and you still dont understand, go to this website for a multiplication chart...

if you have trouble you can change it into an addition problem. for example 2X3 is 2+2+2=6 . multibulcation is just a shorthand way of saying add the number to itself this many times.
