back in the day...you'd take the SAT. It's half math and half verbal. Take the ACT if you are better at english.

To be completely honest you're going to have to read no matter which test you take. Either one will require reading in at least a SMALL part, though the SAT will most likely require far more than the ACT.
When I took the SAT before they changed it to include a writing section, the reading portions were quite dense and very important. I never took the ACT, so I can only really assume that the ACT would have less reading.
Though if you want TOTAL honesty, just bite the bullet and learn to love reading. If you're going to college then that's what you're gonna be doing a LOT of.

It depends on what else you like. The SAT is a reasoning test. The ACT tests what you learned in high school. Both involve an equal amount of reading, but there is less weight on the reading portion in the ACT.

it all depends where you are going to college. some colleges don't require you to have taken the SATs.
