Based on historical date, they seem to have been fascinated by the large ships with sails. Considering the technology difference, the native americans were probably awe struck by the mechanical devices possessed by the europeans. Fear was most likely a felt emotion too.

I would think back when the first ships arrived, the Native Americans were in wonderment and awe! Probably ready to meet the new visitors with open arms.

To the guy who answered above me,Just so you know you cannot discover something that was not lost and natives were not saved by Columbus. Natives lived sustainable, until Columbus had to come here and start his crap. To your question I'm sure the Natives were fine with the europeans , until they realized how greedy they were.

since we're speaking hypothetically here, they would probably greet us with open arms and trade their valuable furs and jewelery for whisky, which they will become hopelessly addicted to, then we'll make sure to have a bottle handy whenever we trade for their furs and jewelery so we get the good prices (free cause we take it when they pass out), then they would probably suffer a few hundred years as we settle their lands. Hypothetically speaking that is.
