Depending on where you live, some good places to start marketing are businesses who send arrangements on a regular basis and who may be utilizing the internet to purchase them. I would get in contact with Realtors, new home builders, etc. and see if you can set up an account for when houses close the buyer will get an arrangement or plant for the new home. Do the same with Attorneys, Doctors, etc. see if you can set it up like a concierge service where you keep track of birthdays, anniversaries, etc. for businesses. Many people like the personalized touch and not using the internet anymore market- there is a florist in Carlsbad, Ca. called "the Flower guy" and I ordered from him once and now get emails from him and they are creative reminders. good luck!

The first thing you need to do is get corporate accounts. My sister is doing this by going and giving a free candy bouquet to the receptionists at the front desk. They are the first hurdle to jump so make them your friends and you will get access to other people. Then after that she says "all I ask for this candy bouquet is that you tell people about my company." This way she doesn't have to go through the whole building. She got over 40 accounts and has been in business for 1 month! I think that was a brilliant idea. She saved tons of time by doing this and the receptionist's love to see her coming because she always brings them one of her painted projects. It costs her a little bit of money but she gained a whole lot of clients by doing this. All together she gave about $250 and she made about $6000.
