He was released by the Leafs in July, so he's afree agent right now. I haven't heard of any teams talking to him. I don't think he's going to play this year. Maybe he'll be lucky and some team needs to fill a roster spot because of injury.

he may retire....i think why no word is out yet is...that he may be waiting for arbitration because the leafs will have to owe him money due to the fact he still had a year or two on his contract to go.

he stated that he would not play for any other team...so he may end up like doug gilmour and retire as a leaf...well....last played as a leaf

He's a goon, and has been kicked to the curb by the leafs. I don't think any team in Europe would want him as the younger kids could skate circles around him.

the inside story is that he is having a hard time with having been cut by the leafs and is in a deep depression over it.

Oh, yeah. I think he announced his retirement right after the lockout and then he signed with TSN as an analyst. During that time, he was having an affair with federal MP (Member of Parliament) Belinda Stronarch (Newmarket, Ontario constituent). She is one of two high-profile politicians in this country who is actually attractive. lol

I think he can bring experience and leadership to a team, and can be a tough guy, who cna defend star quality players. I don't think he has retired, just no club has signed him, yet.

He "retired" or that's what goons call it when no one wants them. Leaf faithful are cheering loudly now that Dummy is gone.

he was so heartbroken after TO cut him, he's been in hiding ever since. no word on signing elsewhere. can't imagine why anyone would sign him. he's not exactly a current nhl type player. slow. unskilled. he'd make a great coach, though.
