For me it would be:
The "Shannara" chronicles by Terry Brooks (Sword of, Elfstone of, etc)
"Venus Prime" novels by Paul Preuss with Arthur C. Clarke
This would really be good if it were created and overseen by Shirow Masamune, the creative mind behind Ghost in the Shell, since,... to me at least, ...it has the same feeling
"Earthclan" by David Brin
Anne McCaffrey's "Pern" novels or her novels about the "talented" such as "To Ride Pegasus," "Pegasus in Flight," etc., and "The Rowan," "Damia," "Damia's Children," etc.
What about you?

They should do all those horrible X-Men and Batman movies as CGI like the Incredibles or Appleseed (2004 version).
The Transformers should have been that way also, but I hear they're going live action. So sad.

Do you propose favoriete actor who performed batman? Or widespread actor who grew to become into in Batman? If that's the latter then Mark Hamill by way of fact the Joker is often outstanding, in the two the lively series and the video games. For my widespread Batman actor...i do no longer wanna say Christian Bale on account it incredibly is somewhat cliche and he's a douche, yet up against Adam West, George Clooney, Val Kilmer and Michael Keaton..He probable is.

One of my favorite books, "The Hounds of the Morrigan" would make a fantastic animated or live-action movie. I'm surprised that it hasn't been filmed yet because it has all the elements of a great fantasy: memorable characters, lots of action, talking animals and other critters, etc.

I'd like to be a director. If I had the chance I'd like to do Tom Robbins' book Jitterbug Perfume.
Also, I agree with you about Anne McCaffrey's dragon books. The technology is available now to turn out a good, believable version.

My husband and I have had in depth conversations about who to cast if they ever made Roger Zelazny's Chronicles of Amber into a movie. It would be great live action or animated.

"The Long, Dark Tea-Time of The Soul" by
DOUGLAS ADAMS
It's a great book, with lots of funny action scenes, for example:
Thor, God of thunder, blows up terminal in London airport!
They didn't let him go to Oslo!!! (because he had no passport :-)

Richard K Morgan's Takeshi Kovac trilogy...Altered carbon...Broken Angels...and Woken Furies.
Military true-crime fiction at its science fiction best. The audiobooks are excellent...especially the narrator of the first two...

I would love to see King Fortis the Brave made into a movie. I think it would be absolutely perfect to adapt.
