i don't quite get your question, but, yes the europeans had to explore and conquer a new world
there are 2 main and initial reasons: the price of spices and silk from india and asian territories and the fact that they needed more space for agriculture. they initially wanted to find a new way to get to india, for avoiding the extremely big taxes charged by the arabs and other importers of asian products. an other impulse for these conquests was the developing of a new tipe of ships, of whose design made them suitable for long and difficult journeys. at the start, they didn't mean to find a new world, but, as it happened, they exploited it as much as they could, finding in it a new source of money and industry.

They were looking for a shortcut to India and China. They found the Americas instead. So they decide since they were superior beings the existing races were to be wiped out so they could take over their lands and resources.
