as far as i know there is 7 films in existance:
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1910 film), directed by Otis Turner
The Wizard of Oz (1921 film), directed by Ray C. Smallwood, never completed
Wizard of Oz (1925 film), directed by Larry Semon
The Wizard of Oz (1939), starring Judy Garland
The Wiz, 1978 film
Return to Oz (1985), directed by Walter Murch, the unofficial sequel to the 1939 film
The Muppets' Wizard of Oz, 2005 TV movie directed by Kirk Thatcher and starring The Muppets and Ashanti
there are other shows regarding Oz. the books (by L. Frank Baum) span 14 volumes and there are many musicals on broadway and animeted shorts based on his books (think "Wicked" and the "Oz no Mahōtsukai" which is a 1987 Japanese anime adaptation)

Return to Oz, I believe, has a very young Fairuza Balk who has played in movies like the Craft as the crazy witch, or as the crazy neo-natzi girl in American History X.

there are 3 the original the wizard of oz, return to oz, the Muppet's wizard of oz and several cartoon venison's. my daughter has most of them she is a big wizard of oz fan

Too damn many? Makes you think huh? I feel bad for the kids and the kids of the people that were on drugs taht made that movie. Plus those that made other renditions of it.
