american football sucks. it´s the most boring game around the world. it´s just a laboratory for new drugs. it´s gay.
rugby is cool and original.
and all the world loves soccer (football is the original name).
World Cup FIFA is bigger than any league and any world championship of any sports. Maybe is bigger than Olympic Games.

I personally like American Football - you know, organized Rugby with pads -
I was raised playing baseball - but I can't stand to watch that game - it's agonizingly boring. I play softball, but even that's boring sometimes.
Basketball - I can't stomach watching those thugs play for more than a few minutes - and it's also kind of boring.
Soccer - fascinating - I don't know how to play, but I'd love to have the stamina those guys do to play. It looks like a lot of fun!
Hockey - I wish I would have learned how to skate when I was younger. That sport also looks like a ball!
I would have to say that - in this American's opinion - American Football is the new favorite passtime - everyone I associate with can't wait for football season to start!

ok, judging that your not an American, and you are saying the rest of the world likes "football," that would mean Soccer in our terms. Here in the U.S. REAL football is very popular. not some panzies kicking a little ball around. People getting knocked the f**k out and everyone cheering, a real sport.

Why does some thing of the international CARE what we are expecting of about their football and picture WE CARE what they imagine of OUR football? Oh and dude we do no longer have kicks for consequences it truly is "international football" or Futbol or football. Our kicks are on kickoff or more advantageous factors or punts. In different words they seem to be a fashion of giving the ball to the different team, both once you score or to reward them for combating you from scoring. the different time is a field purpose and prefer more advantageous factors it truly is to score factors so no longer a penalty.
