The number lock will go on when I'm doing work, all the sudden, I can't type or backspace until I hit FN F6. It's very frustrating! Any solutions on how to fix this and stop it from happening are appreciated!

this sounds like it may be a keyboard error. Perhaps there is a problem with the keyboard itself, its most likely not under warranty, but a replacement keyboard for the powermac is less than 100. Have you got any moisture on the keyboard recently, or ever? This MAY also have something to do with firmware updates. I remember an issue coming up like this when using SOME programs with a could versions of the older firmware. If nothing else works try an archive and install with your OS recovery CD's
