Why in the world do you stay in a party that supports immoral behavior and is so politically correct as to condone just about every deviant behavior?
That is truly the way I and most consevatives see liberals...not ALL...MOST.

a4140145 - OMG - I do not hate poor people. I dislike LAZY people but I don't even hate them.
I do not HATE people who are different than me. I don't understand their way of thinking and lots of times I think they're wrong but I never HATE anyone.
I feel like a parent who has to yell at their kids because they are being naughty. That's the tone I feel I have. Whatever else you may think - to be really MEAN is not my intention.

For one thing not all people, Liberals, Republicans or whatever affiliation, are "good church going people". I am a non-Christian Liberal but I do not believe in using abortion as a means of birth control. If you seriously believe that ALL Republicans are "good moral church going people" then you are definitely living in a bubble. You constantly try to group ALL Liberals into one stereotypical group and you cannot do that even with your "perfect" Republicans.

Personally I am not church going person. I used to when I was younger but then started to actually read the bible, then I started asking questions. The pastors did not like that. So I left. I just found way too many things in the bible to be illogical. Things like don't have abortions and god is good then you have a story will god himself kills thousands of baby's. Then you have god being perfect but making mistakes. So long story short I don't buy into your religion anymore.
So why do you support hatred of your fellow man? Speaking specifically of the hatred of gays. Instead of allowing god to judge them you choose to take on that role. But we could also take on the subject of hating black men with the conservatives in this country support of slavery and segregation. Or the hatred of women by the conservative agenda to keep them from voting at the beginig of the last century.
So why do you hate poor people? The conservative agenda is constantly attacking poor people. Doesn't that go against the sermon on the mound?
So why do you hate knowledge and learning? The conservative agenda has been attacking public schools since they were created now they attack science at every opportunity because they think it is evil.
The liberals of this country want everyone to be equal and have the same rights. So which is more christian? Hate or equality?

Being a constitutionalist wacko i know some thing approximately this. the 1st modification is a one way highway. It keeps government out of religion yet does not preclude the religious from influencing government. subsequently sayeth the suitable court docket. the concern with this concern is that the Obama administration takes no word of religion (or the form) and believes that The State (Federal gov) can dictate regardless of it needs. Obama stepped right into a cow pie in this one, he had no concept what a firestorm it may create. till of course this ploy is a distraction to misdirect our interest from greater significant issues. it rather is all a magic act; they distract your interest to the final hand so which you do no longer look at what the left hand is doing.

What you call immoral we call freedom of choice.
Organized religion is for fools, it does more damage than anything.Nobody cares how you see a liberal.Liberals have never sought your approval, nor cared what you think. You are free to believe what you want, as long as doesnt infringe on anothers rights. So stop pushing your personal religious beliefs on this country because it doesnt work that way. Im of the southern baptist faith, but dont go to church, because church is a corrupt instrument used by man to control people.Im still a liberal though, my personal religious beliefs do not control what I believe politically. You just have to realize that your rigid narrow way of thinking doesnt work for everyone.

i don't care.
here's why: i come to my beliefs honestly. i must assume you do the same. therefore, your judgement of immorality in my beliefs is COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY MEANINGLESS.
if you wish to really understand how i can come to such a position, that you deem deviant, then i must simply ask you how you have survived so long in a nation that values individual freedom and choice.
i love this country. i love liberty and truth. that is why i vote the way i do and support the party i do. when you understand that, you will realize how meaningless and misguided this question is.
my conservative, church-going grandparents are also pro-choice. are you certain about that "most"?

"good church going people"
There you go again with a christian supremict bias.
I had a good laugh when you thought you knew the definition of "normal".Being as superstitious as yourself and feeling the need to "ram it down other people's throats" as you put it is NOT normal.
Why in the world do YOU stay in a corrupt Republican Party that practiacally INVENTED immortal behavior?
Karl Rove
Rick Santorum
Tom Delay
George "boy in the Bubble" Bush.
I could go on about your hypocrisy, but you seem so closed minded to the world outside your door.We are NOT all slaves to your brand of monotheistic conformity.
Again, people who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones.

The same question can be asked of conservatives, why would "good church going people" believe in things like war, religious intolerance, rewarding the rich, punishing the poor, and not funding research for medicine? Jesus preached out against all of those issues supported by Republicans.
Remember that Jesus hung out with a bunch of dirty, poor men and prostitutes, and defended them every chance he got.

I got to church. And I believe he who is without sin cast the first stone. You can see the specs in others eyes but you can't see the log in yours. Neither side is completely right or wrong.

If they don't believe in "lib causes", on what basis are they or anybody else calling them liberals. Seems to me a liberal who doesn't belive in liberal causes is just a confused neo-con.

And Jesus took the stick and started writing in the sand, "Delay, Abramoff, Scanlon, Cunningham (CA), Ney (OH), Rumsfeld, Cheney, Bush (illegal war)...Mark Green (WI) (in the news for illegal contributions)"
"He who is without sin, cast the first stone."
