Could it be shakespears sister, they were from the late 80's and early 90's. They had a few good songs.

It was a group with 2 females both dark haired, quite gothic looking. I've included a link so you can have a look 2 see if it's maybe them.

Could be Shakespeare's Sister they had a song called "Stay" that came out in the very early 90's. I believe that they were ex-Banarama members. The group was named after a Smiths song.

Or, maybe Sisters of Mercy. They were pop/industrial band from the late 80's & early 90's. Some of their songs - "Dominion/Mother Russia", "This Corrosion" and "Lucretia My Reflection".

Could it have been a Wilson/Philips song (there were sisters in that group), or the Pointer Sisters? Or perhaps Heart - that's a band with the Wilson sisters?

Don't know - you're question could be a little more vague - a few bars would be nice!!
