Yes I did forgive my husband when he cheated on me cause we had just gone through a very serious medical condition with him 1 month and 4 days after we were married.
If there is enough LOVE and the circumstance warrants forgiveness then do it if not don't forgive your spouse.
Only you know in your heart if it can happen.

i used to say that i would never stay with a man if i ever caught him cheating. i've been married for 3 years, very happily. if i ever caught him cheating, i'd be devasted. my soul would feel like dying, because marriage is supposed to be sacred. although i'd be devasted, i'd have to seriously weigh the options. i believe that every relationship, thus even cheating is different. for what reasons did the spouse cheat. is or has it been ongoing or just once. does spouse have feelings for him/her. so on and so forth. i believe counselingis a definite. noe if there are children, the decision is even harder. especially if your spouse is a great parent. all in all one has to go with their hearts and minds.

It is very hard to forgive. I have been in that situation, and no matter if you say you will forgive them, it is always in the back of your mind. Anytime they go somewhere you wonder who their with and what they are doing. The trust is gone and is very hard to get back. I would say, save yourself some time and less hurt, leave the person! Believe me, I stayed, and he still did it and we ended up getting divorced anyways. Big waist of time.

I'll be short and to the point
"Once a cheater always a cheater"
...but then again it depends on your situation, many guys get curious if their not taken care of......others are suduced....ect. ect.
ask your self one question if it was the other way around do you think he would honestly forgive you or would he use it against you!!!
YOU ALSO HAVE TO THINK OF YOUR KIDS
AND THE YEARS YOU HAVE BEEN WITH HIM
AND IS HE WORTH KEEPING OR CAN YOU DO BETTER?
.....throw away the trash once your certain you won't need it again.......

Just thinking about my husband cheating on me, bothers me to my soul. But If he did cheat on me, I probably would forgive him. Not to say that our relationship will be the same. But I would have to stick with my husband.. But mistakes don't keep reoccurring. So if he did it again I would have to leave him... Like the saying goes, Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me....
Good Luck

it would be hard to accept and there would be a lot of trust issues going forward. I suppose i could try, but i would never forget. Once a relationship becomes tainted, it takes a while to develop a certain comfort level. And that could take weeks, months, years.

I wouldn't forgive them. I wouldn't trust them because if they really did love me they should have never cheated.

never. when you get married you make a VOW to be faithful... that is a huge part of marriage...if you aren't going to keep that up then the marriage is over! i would get a divorce for sure if my husband cheated on me!
