you have every right to be angry! I can't even understand why your husband would do that, was he really drunk, although that is no excuse anyway. He needs to really think about what he did and give an explanation for why he did it in the first place. He not only embarrassed you but himself. Try not to worry about the whole town talking about it because I'm sure they know he was the jerk. If he had any brains he would start kissing your butt! If he doesn't I would throw his butt out the door! Stay strong and don't give in to him. LOL

I am curious to know what his explanation was for doing this... I'm sure he passed it off as he was joking (can you see my eyes rolling). I am assuming that you both know this woman and her husband???? What shocks me is that her husband is not just as upset as you are. What shocks me even more is that this woman didn't turn around and slap him! I would be keeping my eyes and ears open because a man that would do this with his wife right there would do a whole lot more when she is not around. In regards to the forgiving him - you do not necessarily need to forgive his behavior to move on. What i think you need to explain to him is that you want this type of behavior to change and that you will not now or ever forgive it because this was a conscious choice to disrespect you. I might also explain that when he disrespects his wife he undermines his marriage. If you need to keep going and put the pieces together for him you can explain that when one spouse undermines a marriage it is only a matter of time before the marriage falls apart.

I guess you have to look at this from two peoples points of view.
First your point of view. I see that grabbing some woman on the *** is a public humiliation (that isn't the word I would use as I don't think it's as bad as that conveys) as there were many people to see the incendent and he did it in front of you etc etc.
Second his. He did this on front of you, which shows that he feels comfortable enough with you to this to anoter woman in your presence. It most likely didn't mean anything on how much he likes you. Most likely he meant it as a friendly gesture and perhaps did not think through waht other people would think of what happened, he probably thought you would think in the same way as him.
I realise that the incedent isn't what you would have wanted, and to some extent, it most likely isn't waht he wanted either. Yet, I think you have a right to be annoyed about the talk and all that. But only be annoyed at your husband for the way in which he made his gesture, not the gesture itself. This will show that you have some understanding, but at the same time, show that you are not blowing things out of proportion and letting your husband know what you feel comfortable with.
Hope that helps.

Men can do the dumbest things sometimes. If my husband did that I would probably be hurt and angry also, but I would forgive him - once. If this is uncharacteristic of your husband I would just let him know that I was hurt and that his behavior was unacceptable and embarrassing. If he does stuff like this on a regular basis then I think there may be a problem.

was he inebriated? Even so, he should know better than to grab a woman's backside. Your husband doesn't have a clue, and no matter how you explain to him how you feel, he will never get it.
what was the reaction from this woman's husband? He should have told your husband that what he did is not acceptable.

You have a 'right' to feel whatever you want. However, since he is your husband, you should be talking to him about how hurt you are rather than wallowing in hurt; you need to act upon your feelings. Your husband should be your best friend and you should be able to honestly tell him why you're bothered so he won't do it again.

Was your husband DRUNK? If he was trying to be funny, I guess it wasn't. You have the right to be upset and to feel hurt. Ask your husband how he would feel if you were to grab another man's crotch, and you did it in front of all his friends. If he does not see where your coming from, then he needs some help.

Yes you are right to feel hurt. Just as he would if you grabbed some other guys butt. I think you should talk to him about it. Just explain how it makes you feel when he did that. If he still doesn't think he is wrong, then he thinks it's normal to do things like that. Then you should be worried not hurt

You have every right to feel hurt....... was he drunk????? Was he doing it as a stupid joke???
I am surprised the other womans husband didn't slug him.
It will blow over and you will forgive him, then the small town will move on to the next topic of gossip.
