Who thinks like me that the Raiders should think about trading Randy Moss to a contender for some good draft picks spread over the next few years. This is the only way they will stand a chance over the next few seasons to be challangers. They will probably already get a very high first round pick in next years draft. Remember the Herschel Walker trade that Dallas made before you answer. Look what happened to Dallas after that. Oh and al Davis stepping down might help to. Remember how long it took for the Cowboys to turn around things after Jerry Jones purchased them. I know Davis is not likely to sell up either.

Never Happen. Al Davis still thinks he's got Ken Stabler and Fred Belitnikoff out there. Half the reason Jon Gruden left was because Al wanted more of a vertical passing game instead of the system that was winning. There is a lot of good talent on the Raiders, just the play calling is not utilizing it. And the offensive line is too much of a weak spot to give the QB the 5-6 seconds it takes to run the long routs. Once Davis passes, because NO ONE will get their hands on that team til then, the the Raiders will be back in the elite, until then, good luck.

Nothing will change until Davis dies.

-Tom Walsh, Mr. Bed and Breakfast?
-Try throwing the ball to Jordan. He caught 70 passes last year. That is what you do to make the defense pay for blitzing every down.
-Fix the lines; don't waste a draft pick on an overrated safety
-Don't run off young talented head coaches. Gruden and Shanahan seem to have done pretty well.

Trade Moss, yes! Porter too. Moss will implode if this goes on too much further. He used to complain in Minnesota, and they weren't 0-2 with 6 points scored.

If the Raiders don't beat Cleveland, they have a chance of going 0-16.

I do not think the Raiders should not trade Randy Moss. They will not get more than maybe two picks a 1st and a 3rd or 4th round pick. Also in order for Andrew Walter to gain the confidence every young quarterback needs he needs to have a good or great wide receiver to throw to. Al Davis does need to step down but it will take a good 4 years before that orginazation will be able to compete for the playoffs.

Dallas netted a ton of picks out the Walker deal because frankly Minnesota was dumb. I don't see the Raiders getting more than two picks for Moss, and the question becomes who is desperate enough for Moss to give up that much?

The Raiders are definitely more than a few draft picks away from a turnaround.

The Raiders need a lot of help. They need a quarterback because Brooks is banged up and Walters is not yet ready. They need another Runningback as Lamont Jordan is not doing the job. They need more up front in regards to the O-Line and they need some more help at Linebacker. Yes, by trading Moss they might get multiple draft choices but it wil be a while until they get better. They might be the worst team in football this year.

Interesting question. BUT, hello the guy is among the top 5 receivers in the league. They should have traded Porter but now they are giving him the Marcus Allen treatment if you know what I mean. Never upset the owner! I would like to see them put in Walter for the rest of the season and try to aquire a lineman in the offseason. Al Davis will never step down. He has won three Superbowls and is in the Hall fo Fame. He still has it but has ran into bad luck with the OL.
