Yes, I carry this burden of punishing myself for my past mistakes. I can't seem to get over them.

Yes. Mostly because I knew before making them. Even after completely forgiven. I am only human.

Yes. I know that some of what I have done has been bad and doesn't deserve to be forgiven so I can't forgive myself.

I can never forgive myself for the mistakes I have made, Schooling, relationships, career etc I am 47 and stuffed.

That is the hardest thing thats killing me.
My mom died in her sleep without any warning.
Up until the time she died,I would ignore her,and I wouldn't let her help me.Such as moving my legs on the bed or kissing me on the face.I just hate it when my mom kissed me.If I had known she was gonna die,I would have let her do these things.I would have spent more time with her.I feel cheated that time was taken away from me.

Yeah of course. It is like this memory in the back of your mind that comes to your thoughts every now and then.
Just cause people have forgiven you doesnt mean that they will forget!
