Yes you should. Pretend you want to offer them sweets so they'll $hit it, because of all the "do not accept sweets off strangers" lectures they have from their parents.
Also try dressing up like a maniac and running after them, make sure you use this tactic in the late evening when kids are on their way back home.
Just make sure you don't cross the line and actually attack them if you happen to catch up... i learnt that mistake the hard way.

Go ahead my friend and scare to you heart's content. Perhaps give the little kiddies a little taste of what we call, Childhood trauma? Might I suggest a Michael Jackson mask?

You could try to scare my kids...but...they're little bullies and you might find yourself getting your butt kicked. (They're 12, 8 and 16 mos...and the baby's the worst of all 3)
