Y'know, this ain't a freakin' video game, where you just keep getting lives or you just restart the game after you lose them all...
We are dangerously close to having to institute a draft to keep our military strong. Recruitment is way down (understandably so) and we are so incredibly in debt paying for the wars we have going now that our grandchildren will still be paying for it from their taxes.
I'm quite afraid that the new "axis of evil" has become a self-fulfilling prophecy, and we're dangerously close to a full-blown world war. It may even be unavoidable as we speak.
Be careful what you wish for.

What's the point? The North Koreans are more dangerous to themselves than anyone else.
In the event of any kind of crisis, we have the option outlined in your previous question about The Middle East.
There's no oil at stake here.

When that is the only option. North Korea has too many fighters and technology for the US to get enough voter approval. Also, North Korea is mostly talk because they know their alliances are thin if they go out and attack anyone.

They are crazy in N. Korea, not idiots. Crazy is far more dangerous than idiocy. (Although I have to admit we have a lot of tangible evidence for how dangerous idiocy is in this country)
I would have to say that it would have to be last resort of last resorts. If they have Nukes they would use them. KJI thinks he is a living god! In his mind he has nothing to loose.
As for a date - that would be ridiculous.
